Italians are known for 3 things, our food, our passion, and our fashion.

That is why around the world "made in Italy" is considered to be a brand in itself.

This comes from a long history of innovation, often putting a modern twist on our own older styles.

In fact, even the name Kiton comes from the Greek word for "praying robe"

Let's give you the rundown

The first season we're going to tackle is Summer.

How to dress like an Italian during the summertime

Summer is a time when Italians are seen wearing light-colored clothing, such as white.

This comes from the idea of summer being the "summertime" and vacation season for many people around the world - so we're going to wear something bright and cheery!

The best thing about this look is that you don't have to just stick to white, you can also go for a light blue, or gray.

The best thing about these colors is that they go well with any color of shoes - including white, brown, and black.

Italians are known for their love of food!

This means we're going to want a light lunch in the summertime so as not to overheat from our meal.

For this reason, we also ensure that our clothes are not too hot.

Let's take a look at some summer suggestions from our lead stylist Claudia Merenda;

In spring we dress slightly differently from how we do in Summer.

For one, the weather is slightly cooler and so we might want to think about that before making any decisions.

Claudia recommends a white shirt with some or navy trousers for those warmer days.

If it's raining though, Claudia says you should wear a light jacket in order to stay dry without being too hot.

A very light blazer is another essential.

How to dress like an Italian man in Winter

Winter is a lot of fun with all the different styles we can choose from.

Claudia says that in winter, you should be thinking about layering up.

This opens up a whole world of possibilities.

The climate in Italy is very different potentially from wherever you are from.

However, it does reach fairly low temperatures in the Winter.

For this reason, she recommends investing in a good quality coat that'll see you through!

Italian's will often wear long black coats for formal occasions, and a jacket to be more casual.

For those of you who want the ultimate Italian look, invest in a Harrington or an A-line coat.

You could also choose to wear something more casual for everyday use such as a trench coat to give it that vintage feel.

The key is not to be afraid to mix and match your items together!

How to dress like an Italian man in fall:

Italian men often wear brown or tan suede shoes, which can be a great way to add color to your outfit.

He also recommends adding a scarf or two into your Fall wardrobe, and to be wary of clothing that doesn't match up to your sweater in terms of color!

For those who want an edgier look - a nice pair of Kiton jeans with a jacket suitable for the weather will do the trick.

Invest in a pair of slim-fit jeans and a beautiful pair of Zilli shoes to go with it, then finally top it all off with a colorful Kiton shirt.

In the colder months, it will be best to wear darker colors (especially black) as they are more seasonal.

A lightweight wool suit is perfect for those days when the weather isn't terribly warm, if you're planning on going to a formal occasion and would like to look as stylish as an Italian man in either Fall or Winter.
